The electric double layer capacitor has the potential to change the world greatly.
However, some "wisdom" is necessary for that.
A capacitor production method, a usage system, and strong "courage" to explore the future of humankind might be necessary.
Mr. Okamura, known and revered by any radio kids, has taken on the capacitor at the end of his life, and anyone who wants to develop this technology, whether he has wisdom or not, is welcome. |
It was decided that the ECaSS Forum would bear part of the neutral activity on the public interest side, that is, technology, propagation, and standardization. We work on the global standardization of characteristic evaluation, definition, measurement method for capacitors and publicity and technical education of capacitor storage.
In creating a new structure, the post of chairman calls for a person who is in the most neutral position, and I decided to assume that position. My specialty is power electronics and control fields. However, I had once hoped to be a member of the group cheering the capacitor; so I want to do what I can for this forum.
I will continue to aim at the day when capacitors become very widely used, and with Mr. Okamura and highly capable staff members, lead the development of double layer capacitor storage, building up a circle of like-minded fellows.
